FELIZ NAVIDAD

Thursday, December 24, 2009
Yo, so today is the eve of Christmas and entering "The Building" Santa Ana Claus stopped by to kick it with the homies for a lil before he does his annual beer run tonight! After his drunken rambling from all that nogg, he let me know he came with a special present for some lucky kid on the S&M Facebook today. Hit up the FB around 12:30 PST to see if you will be the lucky winner! Not much else going on today…

Just want to wish y'all, from everyone at "The Building" a Merry Christmas! And to be politically correct happy Hanukah, happy Kwanza or whatever festivities I forgot to add also! So be safe, and give up those keys if you have to.

Stay gold people,

MC

Viente Cinco Anos

First up, I like to give congratulations to Patrick Kirkham for winning the sweet lil package we gave out on our Facebook. Pretty difficult questions, good job bro. Look out for a lot more of though in the weeks to pass.

So word for today, There's a few interesting topics you should check out on this Tuesday boozday.

Like this! I knew about this for a bit, and I was sitting on it to tell you wassup, but I just waited till it came out. Woozy hit up Tony C for an interview while he was out in Cali. Just about what's been going on with the dude lately, it'll give you a few "LOL"s.

And the other crip, Jeff Landtiser is headed back to Portland today. His knee is recovering fast, and looks like he'll be riding sooner than expected. While getting a check up at the doctors he somehow managed to pick up a sponsorship from a knee brace company, CTI. Jeff's coming back better than ever.

Here's something for the books, literally. Since S&M is coming up on its 25yr anniversary, and you know plenty of hootenanny and mayhem went down through those past years, we had the idea to create a book full of these memories. Sort of like a photo album or scrapbook but with a little twist. We are hoping to get this publish in the next few months. So if you want to share any of your good times you ad with us, leave them in the comments section on our new BlogSpot. Hit it up.

I'll leave you guys with a glimpse of Hoder's fresh whip.

Peace,

MC

We got a new shredit out for your viewing pleasure! While the homies were down, posted in So Cal for a few days Dylan took the boys out to kill the local spots round here. Tony Cardona, Randy Brown, Matt Beringer and Dylan himself put down some gnarly lines while mixing in the goodness of mayhem, piff rollin', and partying. So let edit #2 SOCAL TRIP begin! Holla.

The other day Chad Johnson stopped by for a few & brought his ride with him. I scanned the thing over a few times and the thing is pretty unique, flatland is a different ball game. He's been running a few of the new prototype stuff. So I managed to snag a few shots of it and put this little "bike check" thing together.

Just in time to put this on your Christmas list, we finally got our S&M Thin Seats back in! We've been dry for months but we finally re-upped on our goods. Dylan even hooked his up with the P-Guts without even slitting a hole through the seat. Custom!

If you head over to our official S&M Facebook we enabled our "Just Fans" section where you guys can post whatever S&M shit you got going, you can post up your bikes; give ideas, shout-outs, whatever. While you're there today, make sure you keep your eyes peeled for the free give-a-way of this week. Since it the holiday season, Santa Ana Claus likes hooking the homies up.

Rockstars got me feelin' cracked, so I'll be manning that FB today, get on it!

STAYIN' STRONG

Tuesday, December 15, 2009
My name is MC and I got The Goods for you today!
We have things blowin up on the FB lately! A lot of cool shit is being shown.I can't tell you what, but you just have to believe it's good. If you want the exclusive peep the page.

I'm really pumped on how awesome these guys came out. With efforts still going, we collabed with STAY STRONG™and produced these very limited Redneck XLT's. I think it's amazing how we can come together as a BMX family and help a fallen rider. All funds and proceeds will be donated directly to the Stephen Murray Family Fund. Better swoop these up fast before they're gone.

If you're wondering about how Tony Cardona and Jeff Landtiser are doing, yeah they're chillin. I got this gnarly, slightly disturbing pic of Jeff's knee. Give him a few more weeks and he'll blasting again. And I saw Tony walkin around the shop, even riding a bit, damn that dude recovered fast. Must have been his herbal remedies.

Amazing amazing part right here! Randy Browns section from the 2x4 vid showed up online recently and if you haven't seen it you should. He definitely lives up to the motto "Live fast, ride faster."

Another cool vid that popped in my inbox is coming from James Newrick, riding for us outta 4Down. There is a lot of good stuff going down in this one, worth spending 3 minutes for your life.

Definitely a good day in the hood.On your way out, peep this bike check of the man, Rory Ellis. Hot Fire!

Later guys,

MC

DFL

Thursday, December 10, 2009
Not much going on this Thursday.
Lil' Jeff just got out of surgery and everything looks good with him. As I get more updates and photos of the dude, I'll fill you in on his recovery...

So wandering downstairs... I see all these frames that look unbelievably awesome. And on our site all we show is one bland shot, so I decided to give a better look on how bad ass these units are. Sort of like a "frame check", so if you're interested in the Cam, Cardona, Randy B, or Stricker frames you should check these out.

Yo and check this too. Seth Stellfox is DFL. His girl drew this up for him and got it inked. I'm diggin'!

Oh and one last thing, peep the FB to check out the Q&A with Stricker, and see how he feels about that Utah beer. Hah

Pretty much it for today; I'll leave you off with this gem of CAM. Cred Chuck Fallon.
Stay up.

Aight ridaz, you got a lucky chance today. We are going to have some of the radest dudes in BMX here in "The Building" pretty soon. Lil' Jeff, Tony C, and Stricker are coming down to chill for a bit and agreed to kick it on the Facebook to talk some shit with you guys. It's a bummer if you don't have one, because if you know anything about these guys they are some of the most alluring dudes to talk to. So man up and get on that right neeow! They should be live in a bit.

A couple other thing cool things going round here… As we get further in to the finalization of the WTF, I'm finally able to give you a lil' info on this machine. Here's what I got from Christian…
-The WTF frame provides a lower stand over height without the "scooter" like appearance, no Zoots here. Check the difference next to the CAM frame.
-Blackhole dropouts on it will never pinch like traditional dropouts.
-Light weight without sacraficing strength.
-Has a lower BB and makes for a better center of gravity, so it's stable.
-75.5 degree HT angle to remain nimble.

If you guys are wondering about the forks in the picture too, listen to this
-Shorter steerer tube, without the excess metal it cuts down weight.
-Shorter legs, again less metal less weight.
-Shorter leverage also makes it light but gives less strain, for more strength.

Cool new stuff right? Keep checking back for more details on the new projects we've been working on. This aint it.

Alright so Moeller, as the good man he is, came along with Tony during his surgery and got a few shots of how it went. I'm going to throw the pics in the Flickr for y'all to see.

Good stuff if you ask me, remember to peep that FB.

MC

P.S. Im'a rhymer.

Longbeach Edit

Friday, December 04, 2009
Veesh went out with some of the guys recently to hang with Bostrom and ride around Long Beach.

Orchid also just released this new shredit of Micky Marshall, it's awesome make sure you check it out. Gwar's in it, so i know i got you now.

Randy Sent in this photo of him doing a awesome double rail hop in Gail Force winds.

Cam wall ride to 180

While waiting around for ups last night a few us decided we would learn barspins in the 3'x4' area in our office. Here's Lloyd landing one of his firsts.

Here's a parting laugh to start your weekend off....McYoda.

GOOD ISH

Thursday, December 03, 2009
Good word for today...
Tony had an awesome surgery. With a top notch surgeon workin' with some of the best athletes in our "Xtreme" sports industries, he'll be back on his feet real soon. Steady healin' buddy. Stay tuned for an edit of Tony slaying the LBC droppin' real soon...

To keep your BMX feen on. Rok Krivec from Evolution BMX, riding for us out in Slovenia (bet you didn't know we had crew reppin' out there) put this edit together with Carhartt. If you haven't seen Rok shred, check this.

Another edit that I was glad to have in my inbox is comin' from my man Ben Green. I said we needed more and he delivered. In this one he and a few of his homies ride the streets of the "Empire State. " So Good.

A few of you might have heard of the new magazine that Mike Netley is putting together, called Case. In the first issue, there's an article about our new WTF we have been working on, and we also got the back cover. For more details on Case jump to the link.

I know a lot of you were diggin' these bad boys since we previewed them on the Facebook. Well we got the 29" cruiser bars back from paint and they are ready to go to stores near you, that is if you can order them fast enough. Only a small batch for the first run around.

and these stems are still here for hunting season. Grab one before they get blasted for good. (Gun rack not included)

So weather is looking kind of bum, expecting some So Cal rain soon. Y'all can't be envious no more. With that... catch you homies later.

MC

BACK ON

Tuesday, December 01, 2009
Hope you all had some killer turkey over the holidays, and even had a good Thanksgiving at that. I pretty much was in a food coma for the past few days and finally got back on it. So wipe those tears because I got some good stuff for you today.

Well Tony Cardona's back in town again, he went back home for the holidays. But is now back getting ready for surgery. Let's all give him our prayers and best wishes on an easy recovery.

In other team stuff, RIDE UK dropped an awesome video of our across the water shredder Ben Green. I love how this was put together. Awesome riding, good beats, and more awesome riding. We need more of this!Check it out for yourself.

I know he's not on the page yet but our newest flow rider Mickey Marshall got this shot of a HUGE wall ride, on his new Cardona setup that he's been diggin'. But honestly Mickey really does it big, if you cruise over to Orchid page, he has a flick of a massive T-down, gapping over the street!

I got other shots also of Jamie Mauri that Gorak got, you already know they're good!I'm going to throw them up on the Flickr. While you're on there, snoop through all the other albums that we posted recently, you'll enjoy it.

There is some new jams for you guys to hit up over the next few months. Peep the events sec. on our Facebook and see if there are any in your area!

Happy Tuesday!

MC
