About S&M Bikes

S&M Bikes is a rider-owned BMX company proudly producing “Made in the USA” products since 1987.

We'd love to sit down and tell you the whole story, but we're busy building bike stuff - so here's a hyperlinked history lesson courtesy of the interweb.

There's a 1987-2007 S&M timeline on 23mag.com, we found this blog a dude named Ryan Partridge put together about all things S&M and there's a pretty in-depth interview about the birth of the brand on bmxsociety.com.

And while we're at it...it's hard to believe, but S&M Bikes will be celebrating the big two five in no time.

Because all this livin' fast and ridin' faster has taken its toll on the ol' memory banks, we started this thread on our facebook page as a place for our friends to jot down their Shield-related memories, which we're hoping will jog ours!
