After close to two-years of C*vid-induced isolation, it was time to get the band back together. The plan? Assemble at Clint’s compound to shred the Bear Bowl and roast Northeastside, then jump in the bus to head to PA for the Posh/Catty Jams, followed by a final leg at 9 Acres and adjacent dirt churches. The result? A trip for the books. With Stew Johnson behind the camera and Clint Reynolds, Mike “Hucker” Clark, Matty Aquizap, James “P” Nutter, Ever Peacock and Lukas, Nate and Shane Halahan in front of it… a (dare we say it) instant classic is born. Huge shouts to the entire Northeast trail community for the hospitality and BMX in general for the stoke. Dirt Rules!
James P. Nutter’s pup, Raja, knows a thing or two about scrubbin’ jumps, which is why we decided to giver her a colorway of Nutter’s sig frame, the M.O.D. Watch Nutter and Raja cruise 9th Street Austin, and then support a dude and his dog by copping the coolest colorway in the game. The M.O.D. is available in Raj Dawg, Flat Black and Gloss Clear.
Just threw the last chunk of the S&M/Credence/Stew Johnson masterpiece Live Free or Die on the YouTube. Do us a solid and buy a copy to watch in its entirety to help foot the bill for flying these apes somewhere else to do it again.
Clint Reynolds, Matty Aquizap and James P. Nutter made this moving picture back in Twenty Fifteen and they wanted to chuck it on the interwebs, so carve out a half hour, grab refreshments and enjoy! And just quietly, this may be a tease for #ShieldBMX video from cha boyz coming soon so keep ’em peeled.
Today is the day – Hot Dogs Who Can’t Read – the latest title in our infamous library of bicycle motocross movies, is out! We’ll be premiering the video in Riverside, CA at our 30 Year Party July 10 at 9pm. Charlie Crumlish crushed this one – shout out to the Tall Boy for the biking/filming/editing and the whole team for illustrating what having a blast on your bike looks like. If you can’t make the premiere, scoop it in the webstore and we’ll ship it to you Monday!
Some of our main dudes have been doing big things on dirt mounds in recent days. Hucker and Co. unveiled this awesome Dirt Lab where the Mike “The Mad Scientist” Clark has been cookin’ up his moves for X Games in Austin this weekend. Meanwhile, Clint Reynolds and the Credence Crew were building and sessioning said X Games course. The Big Show goes down on Sunday, and with Mike in the main event, and Clint first alternate, there’s an excellent chance you’ll see some Shield shine.
We plucked Clint, Matty and Nutter out of the PA Woods and dropped ’em in Vegas to try their luck at Nora Cup tonight. The boys’ DIY video “Feel My Chest Muscles, I’m a Trail Builder” is up for the video of the year and Clint (and Hucker) are battling it out for Dirt Rider of the Year. Here’s hoping someone on the Shield Squad gets luckier than these boys did at the Hard Rock!
It’s been brewin’ for awhile, and it’s finally ready for consumption – a bro-cam bonanza of awesomeness edited up by Mr.Clint Reynolds himself! Feel My Chest Muscles I’m a Trail Builder – if you dig the Credence cats, you’ll be feelin’ this one!
